Model Night Reinvented

If you walked into our centre last night you could feel the artistic energy flowing. Hair    dryers blowing , music pumping, people laughing and camera’s flashing.  Our stylists  were working alongside Murdertron Clothing to create a street style photoshoot. Drop  Dead Gorgeous Make up finished the looks while Our photographer from Lapeetz  photography captured the mood .

Hair. Fashion. Makeup. Passion. –> our motto of the evening. Everyone gathered to    watch the final look come together while browsing the Stella and Dot Jewellery  collection and trying on some of the coolest Murdertron Clothing!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made our evening a great success!

Check out for the clothing line responsible for our inspiration!

Runway For Hope Ottawa

One of the models

 Team Caralyn’s

 Takes on Runway for Hope

Our stylists and team went down and participated at the NAC on July 27th to participate in a Fashion Show for charity.

Local Designers were given the opportunity to showcase their designs and show our capital how fashionable we are.

Runway for Hope began in the year 2012, solely as an idea to help raise money for youth related charities while promoting local fashion.  The event promotes local talent in the city involving models, makeup artists and hairstylists and fashion designers. Our goal is to make Ottawa Canada’s fashionable capital, and this event tailored made for this purpose. Proceeds from the event go towards the chosen charity of the year and part towards the event fund itself.
We are very honored to have taken part in this amazing event and we look forward to participating again next year.
All for the love of fashion.

Vintage Model Night … big turn out!

Our second Model Night was a raving success. The atmosphere was that of an upscale downtown lounge, dj music and dim lighting embraced the front of the salon. About 50 people roamed through the salon endulging in fine wine and hors d’oeuvres.

Each of our stylists had a model; each style being inspired from Vintage Glamour . The stylists took their time perfecting the looks of each model’s hair as our lovely makeup artist from Montreal Sabrina Fiore finished the looks for the photographs. Each of the models had their own style and own look- the main common goal was editorial worthy hair and makeup.

Murderton clothing had their newest collection set up for the guests to try on and purchase. Their printed tanks and sweaters were a hit (… make sure to check out their online store) .

Mafia Jewellery added to the Vintage theme with their a la mode display of jewellery. Their conceptual pieces brought together today’s fashion with a hard up attitude!

The evening was enjoyed by many and we are truly proud of the work that was done.  Our stylists are already itching for another creative night ; we will be releasing the next Model night date in the spring!

Interested in being a model? Email us your name and a picture of your hair , one of our stylists will take you on!
