January 2009 - Jenn and Megan volunteered at the Shave for the Cure event

November 2-5th 2008 - Jenn attended an advanced razor cutting seminar in NYC from Nick Arrojo

November 24th - Caralyn’s team participated in the Trees of Hope Celebration for CHEO for their second year.

October 2008 - Caralyn’s was nominated and won the award for Exceptional Website Design given by the Nepean Chamber of Commerce

Sept. 2008 - Introduced a new prevention program for analyzing the scalp with the use of a micro camera, if you ever wondered why your hair is the way it is give us a call and book an analysis with Helen

June 6-8th 2008 - Jenn participated in the Weekend to End Breast Cancer 60km walk, thank you to everyone for their support.

January 2008 - Once again the staff at Caralyn's will be volunteering their time at the 4th annual Shave for a Cure event, held at an Ottawa 67's hockey game. The money raised goes to the Childhood Cancer Foundation - Candlelighters Canada

November 19, 2007 - Caralyn's Hair and Wig Design is proudly participating in the 10th Anniversary of the Trees of Hope celebration, which helps raise funds for CHEO at the Chateau Laurier Hotel. The trees will be on display until January 2nd 2008, so come and check them out!

November 6-7, 2007 - Jenn Tierney attended a razor cutting seminar in NYC with Nick Arrojo best known from TLC's What not to Wear. So if you are looking for a new style come and make an appointment with Jenn.

October 18, 2007 - Caralyn Tierney is nominated for Business Woman of the Year by the Nepean Chamber of Commerce

March 5, 2007 - Caralyn Tierney speaks on A-channel morning show about "Angel Hair for Kids" , the only Canadian charity that provides human or synthetic hair wigs for children who have lost their hair as a result of the A,B,C's of hair loss: Alopecia, Burns and Cancer chemotherapy & radiation treatments. January 20, 2007 - Staff of Caralyn's Hair & Wig Design volunteered at the 3rd annual "Shave for a Cure" event. This fundraising event is a uOttawa Medical Student initiative raised $27,000 for cancer research. All funds will be donated to the Childhood Cancer Foundation - Candlelighters Canada.
