Helen - Front Desk Reception/Floor Manager
- has been a friend of the family for many years and she decided to make a career change
- has been with us since Sept./06
- attended her first hair conference with our Capilia Group this past October.
- volunteered at the Ottawa 67's Shave for the Cure event put on by Ottawa U
- provides comprehensive scalp analysis and personalized prescriptions for hair and scalp issues
Caralyn - Owner
- trained in England by a master stylist
- came to Canada in the 70's
- opened her own shop 14 yrs ago
- has over 30yrs experience working with wigs and hair replacement systems
- has dedicated her life to helping others deal and cope with losing their hair
- was one of the first members of the Capilia Group
- member of the BNI Westboro Chapter
- taught at Capilia's first Hair Replacement Conference in October/06
- volunteered at the Ottawa 67's Shave for the Cure event put on by Ottawa U. to raise money for pediatric cancer
- was featured on the A-channel morning show
Jenn - Hairstylist
- followed in her mother's footsteps and has been with her for 8yrs
- graduated from hairstyling school here in Ottawa
- skills include hair coloring, cutting, highlighting, and esthetics
- attends annual hair conferences in Florida
- taught at Capilia's first Hair Replacement Conference in October/06
- volunteered at the Ottawa 67's Shave for the Cure event
- is a part time Instructor for Algonquin College's Hairstylist program
- trained under Nick Arrojo best known from TLC’s What Not to Wear, in New York City, for razoring techniques
Megan Fernandez-Stoll, Hairstylist, Certified Trichologist
- graduated with honours from the Hairstyling program at Algonquin College
- skills include: cut, highlighting, perming, and waxing
- specializes in updo’s and colour
- certified Trichologist with natural product line Laboratoire Nature
- does haircuts for the charity Angel Hair for Kids
- attended Capilia conference 2009
Michelle Paschkowiak, Hairstylist and Esthetician
- graduated from Algonquin College’s Hairstyling Program 2009
- skills include cut, colour, highlighting and esthetics
- professionally trained in waxing, manicure, pedicure, and facials
- attended Capilia conference 2009
Sonja Elliott, Front Desk Administrator/Marketing Coordinator
- Sonja holds a diploma in Business Management from Algonquin College and has worked in the customer service industry for over 10 years.
